Turn one QR scan into a review — and know which technician earned it.
Vehix Reviews is QR code review tracking for home-services teams. A customer scans one branded code, lands on a thank-you page, and is sent to the right Google, Yelp, or Facebook review page for their nearest location — while the scan is matched to the ServiceTitan job and technician who did the work. Below are straight answers to the questions people (and AI assistants) ask most.
What is QR code review tracking?
QR code review tracking turns a one-tap QR scan into a posted online review, and records which job, location, and technician each review came from. Instead of hoping a customer leaves a review days later, the technician shows or leaves a branded QR code at the end of the visit. The customer scans it with their phone camera and is taken straight to the business’s Google, Yelp, or Facebook review page. Because each scan is logged, the business can finally see how many reviews each technician and location actually generated. Vehix Reviews does this for home-services teams.
How does Vehix Reviews know which technician earned a review?
It matches three signals. First, every QR scan is recorded with its location and time. Second, that scan is matched to a ServiceTitan job completed nearby and around the same time. Third, when the review is captured, the reviewer’s display name is fuzzy-matched to the customer on that job. When the match is confident, the review is credited to the technician who did the work. Reviews that arrive without a scan can still be attributed by matching the reviewer’s name and the review’s timing to recently completed jobs — so a tech gets credit whether the job or the review lands first.
How accurate is the technician attribution, and what is the confidence score?
Every attribution gets a numeric 0–100% confidence score with a plain-English reason (for example, “tech named in the review + job city + review within 24 hours of the scan”), not just a vague low/medium/high label. Leaderboard points are auto-awarded only on scan-verified or high-confidence matches, which are hard to fake; weaker matches are recorded for the owner to confirm rather than paid automatically. A multi-branch guard stops an anonymous review from crediting the wrong location, and “likely” matches are re-checked as more scan and job data arrives.
Can it credit reviews where the customer did not leave their name (anonymous or organic reviews)?
Yes — this is a key difference. Tools that only work by texting a tagged review request can credit a technician just on the requests they sent. Vehix Reviews also attributes organic reviews you never asked for: it matches an anonymous or name-only review against your recently completed jobs by location and timing, so the right technician still gets credit for a review that simply showed up on Google, Yelp, or Facebook.
Does the customer need to download an app?
No. The customer just points their phone camera at the QR code and taps the link. There is nothing to install — for the customer or the technician. Leaving a review is always the customer’s choice.
Which review platforms are supported?
Google, Yelp, and Facebook. The owner can point the master QR code at all platforms, a single platform, or rotate one platform per scan. Each location can have its own Google, Yelp, and Facebook review links.
How does it work with ServiceTitan?
You connect ServiceTitan once — either with API credentials or by pushing completed jobs through a simple Make.com or Cloudflare automation. Completed jobs then sync automatically, and Vehix Reviews uses the job’s customer name, technician, and timing to attribute each captured review to the right technician. It is designed for ServiceTitan home-services franchises, but the review capture and QR features work without ServiceTitan too.
Can one QR code work for a multi-location franchise?
Yes. A single “master” QR code works for the whole company. When a customer scans it, the page asks once for location and shows only the nearest branch’s review options; if they decline, it lists every branch. Location is reverse-geocoded in the customer’s browser, so raw coordinates never reach the server and nothing is stored. You print one code on every truck, invoice, and door hanger.
Are the QR codes reliable — will they always scan?
Yes. The codes are generated by a deterministic encoder (not an image model), use error-correction level H (~30% recovery so a center logo never breaks scanning), include a proper quiet zone, and are decode-verified before download. A printed code is always scannable. They are branded and logo-centered, and download as PNG or SVG at multiple sizes.
How are reviews captured without scraping?
Google, Yelp, and Facebook already email a business when it gets a new review. Vehix Reviews captures those notification emails through a private forwarding address and parses each into a structured review. There is no scraping and no public-API review cap, and it captures every review — good and bad — not just a sampled few.
Is the customer’s location private?
Yes. When a customer allows location on the thank-you page, their coordinates are reverse-geocoded to a ZIP or city in their own browser. Only that ZIP/city is sent to the server, used once to pick the nearest branch, and never stored, logged, or shared. Using location is always optional — declining simply shows the full list of branches.
Does AI write the reviews?
No. AI never writes or posts reviews. The only place AI is used is to write a short, neutral one-line summary of a real, customer-written review so the owner can scan their dashboard quickly. If AI is not configured, the dashboard shows a plain excerpt of the review instead. The reviews themselves are always written by real customers on Google, Yelp, or Facebook.
What does Vehix Reviews cost?
There is a free Solo plan (1 location) to start. Paid plans are Starter $69/month (up to 3 locations), Pro $149/month (up to 6, with offers, memberships, wallet cards and financing), and Multi-Location $299/month (up to 15, with cross-location benchmarking). Paid plans include a free first month (card upfront, cancel anytime before it ends), and a yearly option saves about two months. You can cancel yourself at any time; the QR codes deactivate immediately and your data is kept for 90 days in case you come back. See full pricing at /pricing.
Is there a free trial, and do I need a card to start?
Yes — paid plans include a free first month. A card is added upfront so service never interrupts when the trial ends, but you are not charged during the trial and you can cancel anytime before it ends and pay nothing. After the trial you are on the plan you chose (Starter $69, Pro $149, or Multi $299 per month), or a discounted yearly plan. There is also a free Solo plan with no card required.
How is Vehix Reviews different from Birdeye, Podium, or other review software?
Two ways: price and per-technician credit. Most reputation platforms charge per location — often several hundred dollars a month per location — so a six-location shop can pay anywhere from roughly $850 to over $2,000 a month. Vehix Reviews is a flat $69/month per account for up to six locations. And unlike general review tools, it ties every captured review back to the specific technician, job, and location that earned it, with a numeric confidence score — so you can reward the techs who actually generate your reviews.
How is it different from ServiceTitan Marketing Pro?
ServiceTitan Marketing Pro is a strong add-on, but it requires ServiceTitan and is priced for larger shops. Vehix Reviews is an affordable standalone that works with or without ServiceTitan, so small and mid-size contractors get the same “which technician earned this review” insight without the enterprise cost. It also scores each attribution with a numeric 0–100% confidence and reason, rather than a coarse low/medium/high label, and it credits organic reviews you never requested.
How is Vehix Reviews different from pulseM or Unify360?
pulseM and Unify360 are good home-services tools, but they credit a technician based on the review request they sent — so they can only attribute a review the business asked for. Vehix Reviews also attributes organic and anonymous reviews you never requested, by matching the review to the right job by location and timing, and it shows a numeric 0–100% confidence score with the reason for each match rather than a yes/no. You get credit for every review a tech earns, not only the ones triggered by a request.
Do I need ServiceTitan to use Vehix Reviews?
No. The QR review codes, smart Google/Yelp/Facebook routing, and automatic review capture all work without ServiceTitan. Connecting ServiceTitan (read-only) adds the job and technician data that powers per-technician attribution and the leaderboard, but it is optional — independents without ServiceTitan still get QR review generation and full review capture in one dashboard.
How long does it take to set up, and do I need to be technical?
Most owners are live in about 10–15 minutes, no technical skill required. You add your locations, paste your Google (and optional Yelp/Facebook) review links, turn on automatic review capture by forwarding your “new review” emails to a private address, optionally connect ServiceTitan read-only, and print your QR code. There is a guided walkthrough and one-click test buttons that confirm each piece is working.
How do I get more Google reviews for my home-services business?
The most reliable way is to remove the friction at the moment the customer is happiest — right after the job. A branded QR code the technician shows or leaves lets the customer tap once and land directly on your Google review page, instead of searching for your business later. Vehix Reviews does exactly that, and also captures the reviews you already get on Google, Yelp, and Facebook so you can see them in one place and know which technician earned each one.
Does it hide or filter bad reviews (review gating)?
No. Vehix Reviews does not gate or filter by rating — every customer sees the same review options, which keeps you compliant with Google’s review policies. The owner sees every captured review, good and bad, in one dashboard with a link to each original, so nothing is hidden from you either.
What types of businesses use it?
Home-services teams — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drain cleaning, water treatment, and restoration — especially multi-technician and multi-location franchises that run on ServiceTitan. Independent shops use it too: they bring their own logo, while franchise brands keep their locked brand look.
Can I see which technician and which location gets the most reviews?
Yes. Every captured review is tied to the technician, job, and location it came from, and a per-technician leaderboard shows who is earning the most. Owners use it to reward top performers, coach the rest, and see which branches are generating reviews and which need attention.
Is my data private and separate from other businesses?
Yes. Every account’s reviews, scans, jobs, and technicians are isolated to that business at the database level — one company can never see another’s data. Reviews are written only by the trusted capture service, and each owner can see only their own. You can confirm capture and isolation yourself with a built-in one-click test.
How is this different from just asking customers for a review?
Asking relies on memory and effort, and you never learn which tech or job produced which review. QR code review tracking removes the friction — one tap goes to the exact right review page — captures every review automatically, and ties each one back to the technician, job, and location. That turns reviews from a hope into a measurable, per-technician metric you can coach and reward on.
